Welcome to my site. My name is Alexander Lopez and I am a current senior at Foshay Learning Center. Foshay is located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles, C.A. Throughout my high school experience, I experienced a unexpected transition of schools. I attended Manual Arts High School from 9th to 11th grade. The change that was made was difficult because I had to adapt to a new environment, a much smaller school. However, Foshay has offered me a higher education, therefore, I became a member of the Technology Academy, and I gained the skills to create this digital portfolio...

Despite the transition, I did not become lackadaisical towards my success. Four years in high school has created me into a scholar, cadet, athlete and mentor.

I have a passion for soccer. and an ambition to run. I am a Varsity Cross Country, Track & Field, and Marathon runner. I am also a cadet in the California Cadet Corps at Foshay with the rank of Cadet Second Lieutenant. Luckily, I also remain part of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps in the Manual Arts Toiler Battalion.
